Yalumba D Premium Cuvée Black Vintage 1998 was awarded two trophies at this year’s Hyatt Advertiser Wine Awards:- Winemakers Trophy for Best Sparkling Red Wine & Consumer Trophy for Best Sparkling Red Wine.
The Hyatt Advertiser Wine Awards are unique in that wines are judged in two categories – by the consumers (picked randomly each year) and by the professionals (selected winemakers) – and tasted blind. Without any hint of what’s in the glass the winemaker teams select their favourite wine and nominate the best six or so to be passed on for judging by the consumers. |
