Stuart Gregor names Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz 2002 the best red wine over $20 in his 2007 edition of 'don't buy wine without me'.
 "This one's for Rhonda Sexton, the 'industrious, positive and caring' sales manager for Yalumba whose signature graces this blindingly great wine from one of the best vintages in recent years. This wine has always been a favourite because I really love the idea of a family company honouring a staff member with a wine each vintage. Pity the poor person who got the 1968 vintage (a dog of a year, my birth year) and more power to Rhonda. I hope she bought fifty cases. I would be beside myself if I had my signature on this wine.
Is it too obvious to suggest that this is Yalumba's signature wine? … Each year, Signature honours a person who has contributed to Yalumba. This time it's Rhonda Sexton, who's been there over twenty years. Good on her and good on Yalumba. A great wine from a great vintage. Simply superb, classic Aussie red that will cellar 10+ years."
