With Tempranillo taking off in Australia, Huon Hooke takes a look at Yalumba Hand Picked TGV and rates it 'excellent'.
"... Yalumba also makes a three-way tempranillo-dominant blended red, know as TGV. That's tempranillo, grenache and viognier... under the Hand Picked label... an excellent red with bright cherry-pip, spice, blackberry aromas and a hint of mint. The viognier adds a faintly floral edge to the nose."
