| | 92 points - "The Virgilius viognier is the top-priced wine in the Yalumba white wine portfolio. It's a statement on the passion Yalumba has for this grape. It would be fair to say that, over the years, I've taken a fair bit of convincing that it's worth all the effort - though in the past year or two I have started to come around. This release has deliciousness laid on in spades. It's a heady mix of white flowers, apricot kernel, nuts and limes and dough. It's glycerol but has good, spicy, semi-bitter length too - it's quite a package. Drink: 2008-2010."
