Yalumba Hand Picked Single Site Swingbridge Vineyard Shiraz 2005
94 points - "This is one of the current releases of the new Yalumba single site series shiraz-based wines. This one's from an Eden Valley vineyard. Lots of classy oak here and quite a bit of eucalypt too, though to call this anything other than an excellent wine would be absurd. Blackberries and graphite, raspberry concentratre, a smoky cedariness and a minor note of flytox. Lots of supple tannin and a clean, dark, blueberried aftertaste. This was matured in all-French oak for 20 months, though only 30 percent of that oak was new."
