And while it has no bearing on the wine inside the bottle - the packaging of this wine, and of the Yalumba range in general, is as good as it gets these days. Give it 45 minutes in a decanter and from there it drinks beautifully. I opened this last night determined to only drink one glass; a damn-near full bottle disappeared! It tastes of blackcurrant, leather, eucalypt and cedarwood, though its briary edges are clear signs of cabernet's wonderful influence.
Lovely smoothness. Lovely flavour. Not in any way overdone. Tip top."
