| | "It always brings a nostalgic smile to our faces when an old faithful performs well against all the young whippersnappers in the wine industry. Yalumba has been making a shiraz under the Galway label for 60 vintages, and this, the 2002, is one of the best we can remember tasting. A good dark colour leads on to spicy, slightly minty smells, and a medium- to full-bodied mouthful of ripe blackberry fruit and vanillin oak. Exceptional value and almost worth buying for the feel-good factor alone."
