The 2010 vintage growing season began with a cool and wet September and October, delaying the vines’ growth period. However, beautiful weather through November and December meant that the Sangiovese vines were healthy and strong through flowering. An average January and February with little rainfall meant that grapes were harvested in pristine condition beginning on February 11 in the Barossa and finishing on March 4 in Wrattonbully.
