 | Vermentino comes from the Italian region of Liguria and the Mediterranean Islands of Corsica and Sardinia. It has been planted in a few regions in Australia. Wines can be fruity with tropical flavours and good freshness. It is a variety that seems particularly suited to the warmer climates, although it has yet to be really tested in the cooler regions; it is a variety that bursts early so needs to be protected from spring frosts.
This wine was made in a fresh and zesty style to be consumed young.
