Special parcels of grapes were hand selected for Yalumba 'D' Black from the Barossa and Eden Valleys, creating a style with rich chocolate flavours, spice and a fresh berry lift. The base wines spent 6 months maturing in oak. The final assemblage was aged on lees in the cool marble cellars at Angaston for 30 months. Reserve wine was added at dosage, adding an extra degree of complexity to the final bottle.
