One of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world, Chardonnay is a wine with many layers. Lemon zest, nectarine and honeydew flavours are intermingled with cashew and churned butter notes giving way to a bright, fresh textural and complex finish on the palate. Chardonnay perfectly complements Roasted Chicken and all the trimmings.
Grenache thrives on hot, dry conditions, of which during the growing season, the Barossa has plenty.
Traditionally from Mendoza, Argentina and Cahors, France, Malbec is dark crimson and inky in colour with juicy fruit flavours of violet and damson plum intermingled with hints of tobacco and savoury spice. On the palate it is plush and rich. Malbec is a perfect match for rib eye steak on the bone.
A juicy, bright wine with flavours of red currants, plum and violets over notes of cedar, strawberry and mulberry. Lush velvety tannins on the palate make Merlot a great accompaniment to seared venison or kangaroo.
Inspired by the fragrant, sweet and slightly spritzy Italian Moscato d’Asti, moscato is highly perfumed with notes of star jasmine, orange blossom and lime. The palate has a slight sparkle, with delicate sweet white peach and crisp green apple flavours. Best with Brunch.
A wine with many personalities, Pinot Grigio is a perfect wine for any occasion. Nashi pear, orange blossom with hints of musk and wild honey aromas lead to a fresh, lively palate. Hailing from the Rhine region of Germany, Riesling is a highly aromatic variety with deliciously crisp acidity on the palate, which in the past has been made in the sweeter style. South Australian Rieslings of now are delicately perfumed with blossom, crisp apple and lime zest, with a bright citrus zing carrying on to the palate. Perfectly paired with spicy Asian flavours.
A beautifully perfumed wine with hints of musk, watermelon and violets. Silky smooth on the palate, these aromatic notes lead the way to a bright, zesty yet savoury palate with flavours of pink grapefruit, pomegranate and cranberry. A delightful match with tuna carpaccio.

Semillon is at its delicate best when picked early, resulting in a wine of low alcohol. Shiraz in Australia is nuanced: some can be rich, ripe & jammy with profuse tannin and oak in equal measure; yet others are fine & elegant with lifted floral fragrance.

A native of the coastal regions of Italy, Vermentino is perfectly suited to the warm, dry climes of Australia. It is summer in a glass – crisp white peach, citrus zest and subtle oyster shell are flavours that are also reflected on the palate. It shows a delightful flinty minerality and crisp acidity which makes it a wonderful match with freshly caught King George Whiting or freshly shucked oysters.
