Nicely done
Everyone is a winner with this Homefullness Shiraz from Yalumba. Right in the slot of a solid Barossa Shiraz, generous dark berries and plums partner with baking spices, barbecued meats and some char adding interest. A warming and comforting spice coils around the mouth leaving some licorice and dark chocolate as the parting gift. Smooth, satisfying and damn easy drinking, this is nicely done and value for the money. Drink to five years.

Cherries and a hint of chocolate
This is a wine made in partnership with Forage Built, an organisation helping to fight homelessness, hence the name. From a range of Barossa vineyards, the finished wine spent nine months in a mix of French, American and Hungarian oak. Dark maroon hue, there are notes of mushrooms, licorice, soy and warm earth – heading down the path of the savoury styles. A wine of medium length with cherries and a hint of chocolate emerging on the palate, with some choc biscuit oak notes. Really needs some time in the glass to fully open up. Enjoy now and for the next four to five years.

Our Goal

With your help, we aim to raise $90,000 for Forage Built by donating part proceeds from every bottle of Homefulness Shiraz sold. This will fund the build of one Forage Built Calyx – a transportable, eco-friendly place for someone to call home.

Forage Built's mission is to provide meaningful change to people experiencing homelessness and help break the devastating cycle that many experience. Forage Built provides appropriate housing, community support and work opportunities to those experiencing homelessness.
