The Caley Cabernet & Shiraz 2013

The Caley is the pinnacle of a long winemaking journey of excellence that rightfully honours one of Yalumba’s most adventurous sons, Fred Caley Smith.

The grandson of Yalumba’s founder Samuel Smith, Frederick Caley Smith, shared the story of Yalumba with the world when he set off from his home in Angaston in 1893 for a grand scientific tour that would take him around the world in 635 days: from the USA, Canada, England and Europe to the Middle East, India and Sri Lanka.

A blend of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and Barossa Shiraz, The Caley is a classic marriage of two noble varieties and two great Australian wine regions.

The new release The Caley Cabernet & Shiraz 2013 is a deep, dark, purple-red wine with complex aromas of fresh spices, cedar and currants, and rich and textured palate with fine tannins that provide excellent length. Ideal for long-term cellaring.

The Virgilius Viognier 2017

Home to some of Australia’s most famous vineyards, the secret of Coonawarra lies in the intimate bond between its terra rossa soil, limestone layers, pure water and a long cool ripening season.
