Barossa

Yalumba Hand Picked Tri-Centenary Barossa Grenache

Grenache 2002
  • Vintage quality: Mild and dry conditions over the long ripening period lead to healthy vines and grapes of concentrated flavour. Awards & Accolades: 1 Gold
  • Cellar guide: 3-5 years
  • Last tasted: July 2003, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
  • Notes: Bright garnet plum in colour, Yalumba Hand Picked and Tricentenary Vines Grenache 2002 has fine, deep black cherry, earthy aromas and bags of ripe fruit with gorgeous gamey and mushroom aromas developing. A fine mouth-filling wine, it has rich and soft tannins with plenty of concentration. It's fleshy with underlying elegance - a true Barossan Grenache.
