Coonawarra

The Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
  • Vintage quality: The season started with slightly above average rainfall developing into a cool dry January and a dry, warm February. Awards & Accolades: 3 Gold
  • Cellar guide: 12-15 Years
  • Last tasted: January 2007, Peter Gambetta, Winemaker
  • Notes: Deep crimson magenta in colour. Very complex on the nose, offering nuances of violet, bay leaf, black olive and oyster shell. The palate opens with mocha and tapenade supported by damsen plum. The wine is full bodied with fine tannins and finishes fresh and balanced.
